The Misconception: You know when you are being influenced and how it is affecting your behavior. The Truth: You are as deluded as the rest of us, but that’s OK, it keeps you sane. The Misconception: You are a rational, logical being who sees the world as it really is. Just like everything in life, it starts with you! (not part of the 48 concepts) You To me personally a lot of these examples I already knew because of my studies (pedagogical/psychological), but nonetheless it was great to get this summary in one book. It will help you understand the world around you and act more appropriate to certain situations. If you are interested in neurology and psychology, then I would recommend this book. There are a plethora of examples to understand better what these concepts entail. But of course the book goes a lot deeper than this.

I liked the fact that the author split up every concept in the misconception and the truth.

The book by David McRaney called ‘You Are Not So Smart’ is a wonderful gimmick with 48 psychology concepts.
